Its silicone oil-free formulation distinguishes it from classic cockpit sprays, which can later interfere with paintwork and glass applications. Instead of artificial high gloss, it leaves a matte protective film with a UV blocker and antistatic effect — Daimler-approved, meaning with documented material compatibility on OEM plastics.

• Silk-matte instead of plastic sheen. The Top Star "Ts" applies a natural matte film to the dashboard and door panels. No high-gloss effect, no reflections in the windshield. • Silicone oil-free and therefore paint-compatible. Classic cockpit care products with silicone oil creep via air currents onto windows and paint, later disturbing polishes, coatings, and adhesive work. The Top Star "Ts" is silicone oil-free. If you spray the product on dusty or greasy plastic, you will get stained areas and water marks after 2–3 days because the care product seals in the dirt. The Top Star "Ts" is not sprayed directly onto the dashboard, but onto an application sponge or a soft microfiber cloth. This ensures the product lands where it belongs and not on the radio, glass, or steering wheel.

For each vehicle, 5–10 ml is enough for the entire interior. Massage in with even, overlapping strokes, let it soak in for 30–60 seconds, then wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Wiping is not an optional step — without it, the surface remains sticky and attracts dust more strongly than before.

Work at room temperature, not in direct sunlight and not on hot plastic. Above 30 °C, the emulsion dries too quickly and shows streaks. The right time is after interior cleaning, when the surfaces are dust-free and dry — then a complete plastic care for a mid-range car takes less than 10 minutes.

The Top Star "Ts" is designed for smooth and textured plastics, hard components, and rubber seals — meaning dashboard, center console, door panels, pillar trims, trunk walls, and the rubber on window and door seals. Here, it visibly refreshes faded surfaces and protects against further UV fading.

It is not suitable wherever grip is safety-critical. This applies to the steering wheel, gearstick, pedals, handbrake grip, and floor mats. The silk-matte sealing minimally reduces the coefficient of friction, and exactly this minimum is something you do not want in places where you control the car. On hard and heavily weathered plastic, such as 15-year-old cockpits with dried-out surface material, the Top Star "Ts" reaches its limits. If the plastic is already powdery or chalky, the basis for the care product to anchor itself is missing. In that case, no care product helps, only a new paint system or replacement. The Top Star "Ts" is the interior specialist, the Plast Star Pss is the equivalent exterior care product for bumpers, trim elements, wheel arches, and unpainted exterior plastics.

The Two-Step Workflow for a Clean Interior

Top Star Ts is a care product, not a cleaner. This means: Step 1 is always pre-cleaning, Step 2 is care. Those who reverse this or skip Step 1 will get stains and water marks after a few days — the most common application error with this product.

Step 1: Pre-clean the dashboard, door panels, center console, and rubber seals with a universal cleaner in a 1:10 dilution. Lightly dampen a microfiber cloth, do not saturate it. Wipe the entire surface dry, leaving no moisture in joints or crevices.

Step 2: Spray 5–10 ml of Top Star Ts onto an application sponge or a soft microfiber cloth — never directly onto the cockpit, otherwise droplets will end up on the glass and steering wheel. Apply evenly in overlapping strokes, let it soak in for 30–60 seconds, then wipe with a second, dry microfiber cloth. Wiping after is not an optional step: It removes excess and prevents the film from attracting dust.

For textured and grained surfaces, work into the depressions with a soft brush or the corner of a folded cloth. Also, thinly coat the rubber seals on doors and windows — there, the care prevents later tearing and squeaking.

Notes: Do not use on the steering wheel, gear lever, pedals, Alcantara, fabric, or leather. On severely dried out, chalky plastic, there is no basis for the care product to adhere to — no care product will help here. Above 30 °C or in direct sunlight, the emulsion dries too quickly and leaves streaks. Observe hazard pictograms and P-phrases, wash hands after use, keep out of reach of children.
